Belgian-based Brazilian author bridges cultures through books on identity, belonging and transformation, like “Entre sonhos e fronteiras”.

Literature as social transformation

On International Women’s Day, writer Isa Colli reaffirms literature’s power as a tool for social change and female empowerment. Trained as a journalist and now based in Belgium, she crafts stories that foster conscious, inclusive realities.  With dozens of published titles, Isa addresses education, sustainability, inclusion and diversity. Her accessible style reaches children, youth and adults, promoting solidarity, respect and environmental awareness.

Works exploring women’s journeys

Recent releases include “Entre sonhos e fronteiras” (“Between Dreams and Borders”) and “Alice: amor, perda e renascimento” (“Alice: Love, Loss and Rebirth”). These explore identity, belonging, human emotions and personal growth, resonating deeply with women’s experiences.  “Writing gives voice to silenced emotions and paths to change,” says Isa. She sees literature as a bridge connecting people, cultures and life stories across borders.

Building new readers

Beyond writing, Isa leads Colli Books, expanding cultural outreach through projects that champion diversity, knowledge and social impact, nurturing tomorrow’s readers.  On Women’s Day, Isa Colli’s legacy celebrates literature as a space for expression, resistance and renewal, amplifying women’s voices through timeless stories.
